I'm starting this post with a blanket disclosure. I am not a super fan or follower of the Kardashians. Reality television is just not my thing.
I do, however, appreciate getting an inside look at celebrity homes. For the sole purpose of dissecting their interior design choices. I have an insatiable curiosity to see what someone who can afford pretty much anything they desire uses in their own home. When the world is your oyster which pearl do you choose?
I also love books. Reading and decorating with them. So yesterday, when model and reality star Kendall Jenner posted this photo of the coffee table in her Mulholland Estates home to her Instagram story, it caught my attention.
A large arrangement of stunning orange roses and dahlias in a gray vase are front and center. Hanging on the wall past the arches are a pair of blue and orange framed prints. Marilyn Monroe with the words good and evil running down her face. If anyone can identify the artist let me know in the comments.
Loving it so far. But I want to know what titles are stacked on her coffee table.
The larger book appears to be the XL edition of "Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott" by Charlotte Cotton published by Taschen. It is available for pre-order on Amazon and will be available in August. This book is also available as an XXL-sized limited edition of which there were 1,000 copies printed. I'm not sure which edition is in the photo but the XXL edition has a much steeper price tag.
I'm still working to identify the second book thanks to the blurry image. If you recognize the book please share the title in the comments.
